Happy New Year 2017!

Happy New Year! It is officially 2017 and that means there is a new reason to enjoy life once again. Also, that implies that during this time of year there are many “resolutions” being made as well as being dissolved within a couple of minutes/hours/days from starting them. The only resolution I have this year is to be happy. Throughout the past couple of years I have always had resolutions which I have failed to accomplish or stick with. This year I am only promising myself to being happier and enjoying life.

I love celebrating New Years Eve with my family because I know there will always be some good appetizers and a delicious desert. This past new years eve we had a buffet of delightful entrees. We had tamales, BLT, salad, cheese, crackers, deserts, etc.. We had so much food that we had left overs for about a couple of days after new years. My favorite meal was the asparagus wrapped with prosciutto. I love asparagus and every year I look forward to my sister’s infamous asparagus wrapped with prosciutto.

This will be the fourth year, if not third year, that we celebrate New Years Eve with an abundance of delicious food. Previous years we would order food, cook a turkey, or eat the food at our location instead of enjoying the entrees we have lately. We celebrated New Years 2012 in Las Vegas and it definitely was one of the most beautiful experiences that I have ever had. To ring in the new year with an abundance of fireworks being thrown from different angles was quite fantastic to see and experience. I would highly recommend at least celebrating once in your lifetime New Years in Las Vegas. I hope to celebrate New Years again in Vegas in the future since I have been itching to go back to ring in the new year since then.
